Europe's biggest Schlager parade – 30 decorated trucks from the Heiligengeistfeld through St. Pauli and along the Reeperbahn.

Since 1997, a convoy of around 30 trucks loaded with sound systems and Schlager hits has rolled through St. Pauli each July. Half a million visitors, glitter outfits, flower-power wigs and impromptu conga lines along the Reeperbahn make for a famously kitschy spectacle – the city has a long-running love-hate relationship with the whole affair, but few Hamburg weekends are quite as loud, colorful or memorable as this one.
