Northern Europe's biggest funfair – 30 days of rollercoasters, gingerbread hearts and a Ferris wheel on the Heiligengeistfeld.

Three times a year (March/April, July/August and November/December) the Heiligengeistfeld next to the Millerntor turns into the DOM, Hamburg's much-loved travelling funfair. More than 250 showmen set up rides, shooting galleries and beer tents, drawing some 16 million visitors annually and giving the city its loudest, brashest family programme – a deeply Hanseatic tradition with a thoroughly fairground heart, equally fun for families by day and groups of friends after dark.
